Own Your Linens. Skip the Rental Contract.

Almost every restaurant already sends its laundry out. Most use a linen rental company. You rent their rags, bar mops and aprons, and you sign a contract to keep them coming.

That works, but you never own what you’re paying for. Rental contracts often tie you in for multiple years, and the bill can get very expensive with all the add-on service fees.

We work differently. We wash the rags, bar mops, aprons and napkins you already own, and we bring them back on your schedule. You pay by the pound, with no contract.

Restaurants and Cafes Across Long Island Already Use Us

We wash for:

  • Restaurants in Roslyn, Sea Cliff and Garden City
  • A bakery in Glen Head
  • A coffee shop in Locust Valley
  • A country club kitchen in Locust Valley

Most of them get pickups two to three times a week.

What We Wash for Restaurants

Kitchen rags and bar mops

We wash kitchen rags and bar mop towels in hot water with a degreaser detergent. Heavily stained items get a presoak first. Here’s more on our towel laundry service.

Aprons

Aprons are washed separately from kitchen rags and bar mops. They come back folded or on hangers, whichever your staff prefers.

Napkins and tablecloths

Chef coats

Chef coats look best dry cleaned and pressed through our dry cleaning service. We can also wash them and send them back folded or on hangers.

Grease and Food Stains: What to Expect

Most grease and food stains come out in the wash. Heavily stained items get a presoak before washing to give them the best chance.

Some stains stay, though, depending on what caused them and how long they sat. We won’t promise every stain comes out, and we’ll tell you up front what to expect.

What Restaurant Laundry Costs

We quote every restaurant on its own. Most commercial accounts pay between $1.45 and $1.95 per pound. Your price depends on how much you send, how often we pick up and how far you are from Glen Cove.

What stays the same:

  • $35 minimum per pickup
  • Free pickup and delivery, with no fuel or service fees
  • No long-term contract

My mom, Marietta, is our Quality Control Manager. She trains every new hire in the ‘Long Island Laundry Way’ and oversees the processing floor.

Aprons kept apart

Aprons never go in with greasy kitchen rags. They’re washed on their own and come back folded or hung.

Restaurant Laundry FAQs

  • How much does restaurant laundry service cost?

Most commercial accounts pay between $1.45 and $1.95 per pound. Your price depends on how much you send, how often we pick up and your distance from Glen Cove. There’s a $35 minimum per pickup. Pickup and delivery are free, with no fuel or service fees, and there’s no long-term contract.

  • How do you wash kitchen rags and bar mops?

We wash kitchen rags and bar mop towels in hot water with a degreaser detergent. Heavily stained items get a presoak first. Most grease and food stains come out, but some may stay depending on the stain. Every restaurant’s laundry is washed separately from other accounts.

  • Do you press napkins or tablecloths?

No. Cloth napkins come back folded, not pressed. We take tablecloths too, as long as they don’t need pressing. If your dining room needs crisp, pressed linens, we’re not the right fit for those. We can still handle your kitchen rags, bar mops and aprons.

  • Can aprons come back on hangers?

Yes. Aprons come back folded or on hangers, whichever your staff prefers. We do both today for different businesses. Aprons are always washed separately from kitchen rags and bar mops, so they don’t pick up grease from the rags. Just tell us how you want them.

  • Do you wash chef coats?

Yes. Chef coats look best dry cleaned and pressed through our dry cleaning service. If you’d rather keep costs down, we can wash them with your other laundry and send them back folded or on hangers. Just tell us which you prefer when we set up your account.

  • How often can you pick up?

Most of our restaurant accounts get pickups two to three times a week. We pick up Monday to Friday, and Saturdays for accounts that need it. We set a recurring schedule around your busy nights and fit specific times into our daily routes whenever we can.

  • Do you work with bakeries and coffee shops?

Yes. A bakery in Glen Head and a coffee shop in Locust Valley send us their kitchen rags and aprons. Smaller shops can also drop off at 61 Glen Street for $1.45 per pound with a $15 minimum. Drop off in the morning and it’s ready the same day.

  • Do you rent kitchen rags or aprons?

No. We don’t rent linens. We wash the rags, bar mops, aprons and napkins your restaurant already owns, often called customer-owned goods. That means no rental fees and no contract. You pay by the pound for what we wash, with free pickup and delivery.

  • Is there a contract or a minimum?

There’s no long-term contract, so you can change your schedule whenever you need to. There is a $35 minimum per pickup. Only a few rags and aprons a week? Drop them off at 61 Glen Street instead. It’s $1.45 per pound with a $15 minimum.
