Hotel Laundry Service on Long Island
Our hotel laundry service on Long Island was built for hotels, motels, inns, and bed and breakfasts that want a local laundry partner instead of a national linen rental contract. We pick up your linens, clean them at our Glen Cove facility, and deliver them back on the schedule your housekeeping team runs. Your sheets, your towels, your duvet covers, your bath mats. Cleaned separately from every other order. Folded the way you want them. Ready to go back on the bed. Family-owned since 2005, serving Long Island businesses across 65 communities in Nassau County and Western Suffolk County.

Why Long Island Hotels Choose Long Island Laundry Company
Hotel laundry isn’t like other commercial laundry. The turnaround pressure is real. Housekeeping can’t wait for linens. If sheets come back with stains or smelling off, that turns into a guest complaint. And that complaint turns into a one-star Tripadvisor review. So our service is built around what hotel operators need: reliable schedules, consistent quality, and a direct line to the owner.
Family-Owned and Local Since 2005
Anthony Perfetti has run Long Island Laundry Company at 61 Glen Street in Glen Cove since 2005. That’s 20+ years of Long Island routes, families, and businesses we still work with today. We also serve households across the same 65 towns through our Residential Laundry service..
100% In-House Processing at Our Glen Cove Facility
Your linens never leave 61 Glen Street. We wash, dry, fold, and package every load at our own facility. No subcontractors, no third-party operators. The same hands that wash your sheets also fold and package them. One point of quality control for every load.
W2 Staff, Not Gig Workers
Every driver and every person at our Glen Cove facility is on our payroll. No gig contractors. For recurring hotel accounts, that matters: the driver picking up this week is the same driver next week. Consistency comes from staff stability.
No Contracts. No Long-Term Commitments.
No long-term contracts required. Commercial accounts run month-to-month. We earn your business with every pickup, not with a signed commitment. That’s different from large industrial providers like Cintas, Aramark, or Alsco. Their contracts typically lock customers in for 3-5 years with auto-renewal.
Direct Access to Anthony, the Owner
When something needs to change (a scheduling adjustment, a special preference, a stain issue), you call Anthony. Not a ticket queue. Not a customer success rep. Not an app. The person who can fix it is the person who answers the phone. Read more on our Commercial Laundry service page.
What We Clean for Long Island Hotels
Hotel linen inventory varies by property type, but the cleaning categories are consistent. We handle all of them at our Glen Cove facility.
Bed Linens:
- Fitted sheets, flat sheets, pillowcases, and shams (king, queen, full, twin)
- Duvet covers and inserts
- Mattress protectors and encasements
- Bed skirts and bed pads
Bath Linens:
- Bath towels, hand towels, washcloths, and bath sheets
- Bath mats
- Pool and beach towels (for waterfront and pool properties)
- Robes and slippers (for boutique and luxury properties)
Food Service Linens (if your property has a restaurant, bar, or breakfast service):
- Tablecloths, napkins, and table runners
- Kitchen towels and bar towels
- Chef coats and service uniforms
Staff Uniforms:
- Housekeeping uniforms
- Front desk and service staff apparel
Specialty Items:
- Spa and amenity linens (for boutique hotels with spa services)
- Decorative throws and accent pillows
- Meeting room linens
- Event and banquet linens (for properties with wedding or conference services)
If your hotel runs a pool, spa, or gym amenity and wants to add rental towels without managing inventory, our Towel Rental Service handles supply and cleaning as a turnkey program. If you only need towel laundering and your linen are done somewhere else (maybe you own your towel inventory and handle sheets in-house, or your sheets require pressing, which we don’t offer for hotel linens), our Towel Laundry Service lets you outsource the towel side as a standalone account at a focused per-pound rate. And if you have an unusual item or special request, just ask. We’re happy to accommodate.
Built for the Hotel Housekeeping Cycle
Hotels run on a tight clock. Housekeeping needs linens daily, not weekly. Guests don’t wait. Front desk doesn’t wait. So our service is built around your housekeeping cycle, not ours.
For most hotel accounts, we set up a routine pickup-and-return schedule. The schedule aligns with your housekeeping staffing. Daily, seven-days-per-week, three-days-per-week, or whatever fits your occupancy pattern. Pickup happens at the time you set. Delivery comes back the next day folded and packaged, with bed-sized sets ready for room attendants to pull and set.
Sheets folded by size. Towels in pre-packaged sets. Stains pre-treated and flagged. Our goal is to make it easy for your housekeeping team so they can flip a room without first sorting laundry.
What if my hotel has a laundry emergency?
When something goes wrong, call us first. We will do everything we can to help, including re-routing a driver mid-day or processing your load ahead of others on the production schedule.
Same-day pickup and delivery isn’t a guaranteed service for commercial hotel accounts because commercial routes run on tight schedules. But we treat emergencies as emergencies. Call Anthony directly at (516) 674-4123 and we will figure out the fastest path.
If speed matters more than logistics, your housekeeping or front desk staff can always drop laundry directly at our Glen Cove facility. Drop-offs earlier in the day can get same-day turnaround through our Wash & Fold Drop-Off service.
Hotel Laundry Pricing on Long Island
Our commercial hotel laundry minimum is $35 per pickup. Hotels comfortably exceed this on a single pickup. So the minimum rarely affects the price. The per-pound rate is custom-quoted based on four factors. Most commercial hotel accounts pay less than our standard $1.95 per pound rate.
Laundry Volume:
How many pounds per week. Higher volumes get better per-pound pricing.
Service Frequency:
Daily, bi-weekly, weekly, or on-demand. More frequent service is often more economical per pound.
Item Mix:
Linens-only versus linens plus towels plus staff uniforms plus food service linens.
Location & Turnaround Time Needed:
Hotels closer to our Glen Cove facility typically see lower pricing, since shorter routes mean lower transport cost we can pass through to you. Flexibility on turnaround also helps. If your operation can accept 48-hour turnaround instead of next-day priority, we can often quote a lower per-pound rate.
What's included in your quote:
- Pickup and delivery, always free, no fuel surcharges, no service fees
- Commercial detergents and fabric softener
- Stain pre-treatment included
- Custom folding and packaging
- No weekend upcharges, no peak-season upcharges
Full pricing details for our other services are on our Pricing page.

Why Long Island Hotels Choose Us Over Linen Rental
Most hotel operators on Long Island have two realistic options for linen service, a national linen rental company, or a local laundry service that cleans linens you own. Here is how the two compare, and why a local customer-owned model typically works better for independent operators.
The linen rental model:
With linen rental, the provider owns the linens. You pay a monthly rental fee plus a cleaning fee. Your inventory comes from their stock, typically a standardized product line that works across many properties. Contracts run 3-5 years with replacement charges for worn items. The model works well for properties that don’t need their linens to be a differentiator.
The customer-owned model (what we do):
You own your linens. We clean them. That’s the whole model. You choose the thread count. The color. The fabric weight. The style. Your linens become part of your guest experience, not someone else’s standardized inventory. We handle the cleaning side professionally, at a price for cleaning alone, not cleaning plus a rental markup.
Why this matters for Long Island boutique hotels specifically:
The Long Island boutique hotel market competes on guest experience. A $400-per-night boutique hotel guest notices thread count, fabric feel, and presentation. Customer-owned linens give you full control over all three. Your linens, your standards, your brand.
Trade-Offs With Linen Rental
- Less inventory control
- Less brand differentiation flexibility
- Multi-year contract commitments
- Pricing reflects both rental and cleaning
With Customer-Owned Linens
- You keep your own brand and guest experience
- One price for cleaning, pickup, and delivery
- Pay for cleaning only, no rental markup
- Month-to-month flexibility, no long-term contracts
If you’re considering switching from linen rental, or just want to compare options before your contract renewal, call Anthony at (516) 674-4123. He’ll walk through what the transition would look like and whether the customer-owned model fits your operation.
Operational Details That Protect Your Hotel's Standards
Guest reviews aren’t generous. Bad night’s stays can pull a property’s rating down. These operational details are what we do with every load to help prevent that from happening.
Every Account Washed Separately
Your laundry is washed by itself. Every load. Every time. We don’t batch it with other customers’ loads, not other hotel accounts, not commercial accounts, not residential. This is true for every customer we serve.
Sheets Sorted and Folded by Size
Kings, Queens, Fulls, Twins. We sort sheets by size. Then fold the fitted, flat, and pillowcases for each bed together. Wrap them as one set. Your housekeeping team pulls a Queen wrap and gets a complete Queen set. No digging through a mixed pile. Small detail. But it’s the kind that adds 10 minutes to every room turnover when done wrong.
Premium Detergents Standard
Tide for wash. Downy for softener. Bounce for dryer sheets. Shout for stain pre-treatment. For guests with allergies or sensitivities, we’ll switch to All Free & Clear or Dreft on request. Both are fragrance-free and dye-free.
Stain Inspection on Every Load
Every load is inspected for stains during processing. We treat with Shout and re-wash to lift wine, makeup, food, body fluids. If a stain doesn’t lift, we let you know. We don’t return damaged linens without flagging them. That protects your inventory and tells you what’s actually happening with your turnovers.

Hotel Laundry Service FAQ
- What types of hotels do you serve on Long Island?
We're built to serve boutique hotels, motels, inns, B&Bs, event venues with accommodations, and independent or small-chain hotels across Nassau and Suffolk counties. Properties range from 4-room B&Bs to 80-room motels, to large chain-affiliated properties with flexibility on their linen program.
- Do you offer linen rental, or do I need to provide my own linens?
We operate on a customer-owned goods model. You own your linens, we clean them. For hotels that want the rental model, you can contact commercial linen suppliers that offer that service, we do not directly rent linens. Customer-owned keeps your brand, your fabric choices, and your inventory in your control.
- How fast is turnaround for hotel laundry?
Most Nassau and close-in Suffolk properties get next-day turnaround. A smaller group of further-out Suffolk towns gets 48-hour turnaround. For urgent same-day needs, we can handle drop-off at our Glen Cove facility. See our Wash & Fold Drop-Off page for details. Your specific turnaround window is confirmed when we set up your route. Text and email notifications at every pickup and delivery.
- How much does hotel laundry service cost?
Hotel laundry pricing is custom per property based on your volume, frequency, item mix, and location. Most commercial accounts pay less than our standard $1.95 per pound residential rate. Our minimum is $35 per pickup. Higher volume gets a lower per-pound rate while the $35 minimum stays the same. One all-inclusive price covers pickup, delivery, processing, detergents, and specialty treatments. No fuel surcharges, no weekend upcharges, no peak-season pricing.
- Do I have to sign a long-term contract for hotel laundry service?
No. Commercial accounts run month-to-month, no contracts required. We earn your business with every pickup. If your seasonal volume changes or your needs shift, we adjust the schedule and pricing accordingly. That's different from large industrial laundry providers like Cintas, Aramark, or Alsco. Their contracts typically lock customers in for 3-5 years with auto-renewal.
- What specific items do you clean for hotels?
We clean fitted sheets, flat sheets, pillowcases, duvet covers, mattress protectors, bath towels, hand towels, washcloths, bath mats, pool and beach towels, robes, staff uniforms, housekeeping apparel, food service linens (tablecloths, napkins, kitchen towels), meeting and event linens, and specialty items like accent throws. If you have an unusual item, call us before your first pickup and we will walk through how we would handle it.
- How does payment work for hotel laundry accounts?
Monthly billing or per-order. Standard NET 30 terms. We accept check, ACH, and credit card payments. Each invoice is itemized so you can verify volume and pricing line by line. We can set up automated billing on your preferred cycle.
